Inspired by the hard-edge and colorfield painting tradition, among others, I explore the picturesque qualities of foil and tape. I search for the undefined boundaries between materials, dimensions (flat and volume) and high art versus low art.
I work both on dibond panels and directly onto the wall. My murals are temporary: after an exhibition has finished, I take them down and they are gone forever. This serves as a statement that art can hold eternity value in the moment, too.
